Overland Park Family Dental has been designed with your family’s oral health in mind. You take time away from your busy life to see us, and we show our appreciation by making your visits to our office efficient and hassle-free.
Exceptional Dental Care in Your Neighborhood
Overland Park Family Dental is proud to serve the wonderful communities surrounding our office in both Kansas and Missouri. While we are located in Overland Park and work with many patients who live here, we also see many patients from Olathe, Mission, Shawnee, Lenexa, Roeland Park, and Leawood. We are close to Harmony Elementary School and Middle School, Blue Valley Northwest High School, Cottonwood Point Elementary, and Heartland Elementary School as well, so families with kids can schedule convenient appointments on school days. If there is anything else we can do to make our care more convenient for your family, please just let us know!
Convenient Scheduling
Tired of jumping through hoops to fit dental visits in around work, school, and extracurricular activities? We remove those hoops and make it easy to schedule appointments before or after work and school! We open at 7am on Wednesdays and Fridays and stay open until 6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You shouldn’t have to rearrange your life to keep your family smiling.
Family Block Appointments
Family block appointments allow multiple members of your family to be seen at the same time or back-to-back. Block appointments are great for families with children, because it’s hard enough to find time for one dental visit, let alone two or three. Block appointments also minimize the time you have to spend waiting for each visit to finish up, which is a benefit that patients of all ages will appreciate!
Fewer Dental Appointments
Have you ever taken time off work for a dental appointment only to be told that you need to schedule yet another visit to complete your treatment? At Overland Park Family Dental, we make it a priority to use your valuable time as efficiently as possible. We complete your new patient exam and cleaning in the same visit whenever possible, and if you end up needing additional treatment—like a filling or a crown—we’ll do everything we can to start the procedure that very same day. We will complete as much treatment as we realistically and comfortably can during each appointment.
Your First Visit to our Overland Park Dentist Office
Our office is privately owned and operated by Overland Park dentist Dr. Creighton Gallagher, so you’ll always be greeted by familiar faces when you visit us. We believe the key to life-long oral health is a strong doctor-patient relationship that’s based on trust, respect, and open communication. During your first visit, you can expect:
- On-Time Scheduling
- Easy Check-In & Check-Out Procedures
- Minimal Paperwork
- Attentive & Helpful Service
We reserve plenty of time during your first visit so that you and Dr. Gallagher can go through your exam results and also discuss any questions or concerns you may have. If you are embarrassed by your teeth or have some smile goals in mind, Dr. Gallagher can go through all dental treatment options so that you can make an informed and educated decision about your oral health.
Same-Day Dental Emergencies
There’s no way to predict a dental emergency, and there’s never a good time to leave work or school to take care of it. You also don’t want to wait around in pain for your next dental appointment, or for days or weeks for an opening in a dentist’s schedule. If you have a chipped tooth or your child has a toothache, call our office right away and schedule an appointment with Overland Park dentist Dr. Creighton Gallagher. He reserves openings in his schedule for dental emergencies and will do everything in his power to see you the day you call.
Our team can also give you suggestions on things to do to alleviate pain or save your tooth while you wait for your appointment if we can’t see you for a few hours. Here are a few general suggestions to get you through, though. For tooth pain, try taking aspirin – but don’t apply it directly to your tooth or gums. If your tooth has broken or fallen out, keep it moist by placing it in a glass of milk or between your cheek and gums. Make sure you grab it by the crown (the part that’s above the gumline) and not by the root. If you can get the tooth back into the socket, that’s always best.
